THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE CHANGED WITH THE AGREEMENT OF BOTH THE CUSTOMER AND RAPID REMOVALS AND COLLECTIONS LTD.  PLEASE NOTIFY US IF YOU WISH TO MAKE ANY CHANGES AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.

By confirming a booking with Rapid Removals you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

You declare, upon acceptance of this contract that:

1. All goods to be removed are your own property or

2. You have been given the authority to make this contract by the person(s) who own or have an interest in the goods and that they have been made aware of these conditions.

We are fully insured against damage of property and items based on Rapid Removals and Collections LTD providing the packing service. Our insurance does not cover self packing as we have not seen the items prior to them being packed/wrapped.
Deposits required when moving from outside of London or for disposal services. For full day moves or moves taking place over 2 or more days e.g packing on one day and moving the next, a non-refundable deposit will apply.
There is a 2 hour minimum charge for London postcodes. In some locations a 3 hour minimum charge may apply. After 2 hours, rates are charged in half hourly increments.

Payment to be settled prior to completion of the job on the day by either cash, card or bank transfer plus VAT, once we know what the total will be.

Notice given more than 72hrs before the removal was due to start: NO CHARGE

Notice given less than 72hrs the minimum charge of £140 plus VAT will apply for moves of 1-3hrs. Anything over 3hrs a fee of between £300 – £800 will apply based on the scale of the move and time frame allocated.

In the event of a short notice cancellation (within 72hrs of the move) where a deposit has already been paid, this deposit is non-refundable.

We may either increase or decrease the price if any of the following have not been taken into account when preparing our quotation and confirmed by us in writing:

1. We have to collect or deliver goods to floors higher than those agreed, in writing, at the time of booking.

2. Additional services, including moving, extra collections/deliveries and dismantling/reassembling of goods.

3. Breakdown of lifts or escalators which were working at the time of quote, meaning extra work.

4. Any parking charges or parking fines that we have to pay in order to carry out services on your behalf.

5. Congestion charge, ULEZ, toll charges, ferry crossings etc.

Work excluded from the quote unless agreed by us in writing we will not:

1. Disconnect or reconnect appliances, fixtures, fittings or electrical equipment.

2. Take up or lay fitted floor coverings.

3. Move storage heaters (unless previously dismantled)

4. Move items from or to a loft (unless well illuminated with safe access).

5. Disposal of building or garden waste

It will be our responsibility to deliver your goods to you undamaged. This means that we will deliver the goods in the condition they were in at the time of packing or made ready for transportation. This is based on our full packing service of the items.

Although we do our best to be on time, circumstances out of our control may cause delays. We will keep you updated with an ETA if we anticipate any delays on the day.
